Finally it's possible to range ban IPs in Gore Special Edition. This Banlist Creator programmed by Killer.be creates you a list of IPs which you then can insert into the .cfg-file that loads the server.
Create all ranges:
192.0.0.* (for IPs with 1 dynamic value) OR 192.0.*.* (2 dynamic values)
* will be replaced with all numbers from 0-255
OR specify the range:
192.0.0.100-199 --> All IPs from 192.0.0.100 to 192.0.0.199 will be listed. Each IPs digit values from 0-255.
How to put in your .cfg-file (which is read by the server):
Create a new .cfg-file and name it "banlist.cfg". Paste all generated "ban IP" lines in it.
Now open your autoserver.cfg (or whatever file the server reads) and enter this line: load banlist.cfg
Now start your server, you will notice that it takes a bit more time to load the server as it has to process every line of the banlist.cfg.
