Capture The Flag & Tact Leagues

About Teams & Players

  • Team’s size in war: 4 vs 4 minimum and 7 vs 7 maximum
  • Medics are not allowed. The other player classes can be used freely
  • Each player is allowed to play only for one clan/team and for one family/national team
  • During a war, only members of each team and Gore League admins are allowed to be in the server
  • One substitute is allowed each week who can’t be a member of other participating teams

 

Capture The Flag Information

Tact Information

  • Time-limit: 10
  • Rounds: 5
  • Mod: Balance Mod
  • Allowed Maps: Ascension, Border, Brooklyn, Camp, Coalmine, Cube, Cygnus, Gothic, Gothic Bridge, Illegal, Incognito, Industrial, Manor, Mansion, Metal, Plant, Rapid, Shafted, Space, Station, Tucson, Vertigo, Warehouse

 

Servers Information

  • A war can take place only in servers approved by the Gore League admins
  • Gore League participants can find the server passwords in Gore League Forum

 

Wars Information

  • The admins choose two maps (different maps each week), each team choose one map and each map will be played twice. A map can’t be played more than two times in the same war. You can see the maps chosen by the admins for each fixture in the Match Schedule
  • Europeans vs Americans: In that case, each team choose one map and each map will be played 2 times in American server and 2 times on European server
  • Each team must announce their maps choices at least one day before the war is going to take place, otherwise their opponent will choose the maps
  • War date and time should be set within 5 days each week
  • No show / Forfeit: If a team have only two or less players to start the war within 20 minutes after the set time, they will get a default loss* and the other team will get a default win**, otherwise if they have three players, they can get a substitute or the war can take place after the end of the original match schedule. If that team doesn’t have enough players in the rescheduled match too, they will get a default loss and the other team will get a default win

 

*Default Loss: 0 points / the lowest score or won rounds of the week

**Default Win: 8 points / the highest score or won rounds of the week

 

War Organizer’s Duties

  • Organize the wars for their team and post the decided date, time, server and the chosen maps in Gore League Forum (it is recommended to organize the war in this forum at the first place)
  • Take screenshots at the end of each map in a war and post them in Gore League Forum

 

Point System

A team gets one point for every won map. If a map is tied, each team get half point

In case of a tie in the league table, the team with the most won rounds (for TACT) or with the highest score difference (for CTF) will have an advantage

 

General Information

In each season there will be a Capture The Flag League and a Tact League. Tact League will begin after the end of Capture The Flag League

Each war will be played once in both Capture The Flag and Tact Leagues

Each part of the season is over when all wars are played
