Form
The form of the Duel Tournament depends on the number of participants. If there are 8, 16 or 32 participants, it will be an Elimination Tournament, otherwise participants will have to be divided in Pools. So there are 2 possible stages:
- Stage 1 – Pools Stage: Players are divided in 2 or 4 Pools (groups). Every player duels the other players in their group. Each won map is a point. After all duels are done, the 1st and 2nd player from each Pool proceed to the next stage
- Stage 2 – Elimination Ladder: Players form pairs and each pair has one duel. The winner from each pair go on to the next elimination match. This procedure continues until there are only 2 players left, which will be the Final
Rules
- Gamemode: DM (Deathmatch)
- Timelimit: 10 minutes
- No Scorelimit
- Only MOB medium (Chan) is allowed to be used
- 3 maps are played in each Duel. Each player choose one map and the third map is Anthem
- Allowed Maps: Anthem, Ascension, Brooklyn with closed bases, Cygnus, Gorge, Temple
- No show / Forfeit: If someone can’t make it to the duel, it can be rescheduled
European vs American
The rules in this case are a bit different:
- The 3 maps will be played in both an European and an American servers, so it will be 6 maps in total.
- In Pools Stage: The final result is divided by 2. For example, if both players have won 3 maps, it will count as if they won 1.5 maps, so they will get 1.5 points each
- In Elimination Ladder: If both players win 3 maps, Anthem will be played in both servers and the player with the highest net score* in those 2 maps will be the winner
*Net Score = Score – Deaths
Duel Mod
The mod that will be used is basically stock with the following changes:
- Less encumbrance (weight of weapons)
- Fixed breathing sounds for Chan
- No Power Ups (Invulnerability and Mad Power)
- Big stamina and health pick-ups give 50 HP and 100 stamina
- Closed bases in Brooklyn

Important Note
- If you join a server with people in it, pick the observer. If you don’t do so, you will be booted immediately without further notice, because you may interrupt a duel
- Try to play during the week if possible
- If you don’t set up your game on Gore League Forum, at least inform us about the decided date and time
